I just stink at remembering to update this blog every now and then. I'm going to set a once a week goal for myself. I think I can do it! So what's happened since December? Not a whole lot! I turned 32 last week. Woo-hoo. Eric is a walking, talking toddler and will be turning two next month. I can hardly believe it. Maddie is doing so well in school, I forget sometimes that she's only in Kindergarten. She recently had 5 cavities filled, and will have two more done in a couple weeks. She's been a real trooper through it all. Eric needs to have 5 teeth repaired, and I am a nervous wreck. He'll need general anesthesia since he's such a fighter whenever any stranger touches him. You should see him get a hair cut! Kayla is doing very well in school and is currently practicing for her school's talent show. She'll be singing a kid-friendly version of "Hot n Cold" by Katy Perry. It should be interesting!
How about some pictures? I took this picture in front of my parent's house. I love it so much.
Eric makes such silly faces:
That's all folks! I have a ton of pictures I need to upload and then I'll post again soon. I can't use up all my good material in one post if I'm going to attain my 1 post a week goal.

Worst Blogger Ever...
Life just got a wee bit crazy the last few months. Maddie broke the brand new monitor for the computer and I hated getting online for a while I could only see 2/3 of the info and it was just plain frustrating. I finally went ahead and got a new computer (a MacBook Pro....WOOT!) and I'm slowly catching up.
My grandpa had a heart attack in October...which lead to a stroke, a long stay at a rehab facility, and infection, and on November 30th we decided to let him go. He passed peacefully on December 1st. I loved this man with all my heart. He was a great man. Here's a picture of him with Stephanie and me. I'm the one getting the kisses.
and my highschool graduation:
He will be missed. His funeral was amazing. In April of this year my grandma had back surgery. While she was at the hospital I went over to their house everyday and helped my grandpa. He was so excited about our breakfast dates. I am so grateful for the time I had with him.
Okay...some obligatory pictures of the kiddos! We had fun in Flagstaff visiting Steph and her kids for Thanksgiving.
That's all folks! See you in 2009 :o)

I cannot believe I went over a month without blogging! To make up for it I'll share some pictures from August...okay? First, I adore this cheesey grin picture of Eric. He was attacking me on the couch. It is blurry, which breaks my heart. One of these days all the planets will align and I'll get a great picture of this kid with perfect lighting and all. Someday...

Eric now has 14 teeth with 2 more coming in. I don't think the girls had nearly as many at the same age. Just before I took this picture Eric had spilled an etire new box of Fruity Pebbles on the kitchen floor. Instead of running to clean it up I did what any mom with a camera would do....took lots of pics! I hated to use the flash, but the lighting was terrible.

What else? Oh! Maddie started Kindergarten. Didn't she look just like a cupcake with that fantastic pink bow on top of her head? She was so proud of her super-glittery Hannah lunch sack.

Kayla was very excited about school as well.

That's about all the exciting news I've got! Kayla and Maddie both started Girl Scouts last week, so get your checkbook ready! Cookie season is right around the corner...

One of the things I was most excited about when we moved back to Tucson was Monsoon Season. I love this time of year. Yes, it gets very hot, but the late afternoon thunderstorms make it worth it. There is nothing like the smell of rain in the desert. Here's some pictures from our visit to the park just after the rain cleared.
